How do I get the code to register or unlock my program to the full version?
In order
to get your registration key to unlock the software, you need to first
purchase a product from All Purpose Software. Once your payment has
been confirmed, follow these steps: Download and install the latest
trial version of the software if you do not already have it installed.
Install it on the machine you wish to purchase a license for, the one
you intend to use it on.
Start the trial version and go to Help/About in the toolbar. A registration
dialog box, containing details of your pc, a username box and other
assorted details pertaining to your computer will appear. Fill in your
username and hit the 'Register' key. The Product ID, an 8 digit number,
is located on this dialog box and when you hit the 'Register' button,
an email with this ID is sent to All Purpose Software.
Once we have your Product ID we will send you an email containing the
unlock code to the register the software.

2. Once I have my registration code, how do I enter it into my program?
In order
to register your program you will need to enter your registration key.
This is found in the email sent to you containing a username and registration
key (see question no.1)Launch
the application and when you see the 'splash screen' (see pic 1), click
'Enter Key' and proceed to enter in the username and registration code
from the email and click 'OK'. Your software is now registered. If you
have any problems registering please contact customer
service.

3. My registration
key doesn't work, what shall I do?
The most likely cause of this is a simple typing error (it's easy to
do). We recommend copy/pasting the registration key and username into
the box, making sure you don't copy any extra spaces or introduce any
punctuation of any description. If that doesn't work, double check the
number you are entering. It should be 8 digits long with a dash after
the fourth digit.

4. I've lost my serial number. How can I get it back?
Please email support@allpurposesoftware.com
with as much detail as you can regarding your registration. You should
include in your email the exact name you registered in, the name and
version number of the program you registered with and the approximate
date of your registration, your email address at the time and the method
of registration (online or by post).

5. I am upgrading my PC. Will my license key still work on this machine?
If not, what do I have to do?
No, your license key is locked to your old machine. Our programs lock
a license key to specific machine details. If you upgrade your PC (change
disks for example), or get a new PC you must install the software on
the new PC and remove the program from your old machine (and confirm
to us in writing/email that you have done so) and go through the registration
procedure on the new machine to register for a license key for this
new machine. We will send a license key for your new PC by return email.

6. I
lost my program. How can I get it back without paying again?
Simply download the program again from here.
After you install the program, your pc will remember you have already
installed and registered it previously and the software will automatically
be unlocked and registered. You don't have to do anything else.

7. My 30 day trial copy of the program says it has expired, how do I register
the program now?
You can still register the program even after it has expired. If your
30 day trial has expired, follow these steps:
1. Start up
your program.
2. When you see the nag screen with the title 'Reminder', click on the
button 'Enter Key' (see pic.2)
3. You will see a screen with the 'Enter Registration name and Enter Key'
instructions (see pic.3).
4. On the middle left hand side you will see 'User Code' or 'Hardware
Fingerprint' (depending on the version you have) and an alphanumeric set.
(example: Hardware Fingerprint: 38H4-374B)
5. Copy the 'User Code' or 'Hardware Fingerprint' alphanumeric set into
an email and send this to me along with your desired username. For example,
in your email you would put (Example):
Username: John Smith (example name)
User Code: 8FF9-35AE (example, your code will contain a different set
of numbers)

Alternatively,
when you startup your program and receive this message:

Just click on 'OK' and you will be taken to the 'Enter Key' screen (see
pic. 3)

8. If I order by regular mail, how long will it take to receive my registration?
Once you mail us your order form with your check or money order, it
should take about 10-14 working days for us to receive the order (if
posted outside Australia). It will take another 3 business days to clear
personal checks or 1 working day for money orders. This equates to around
18-21 working days turnaround time. You need to ensure you have added
the 'Application Installation Code' from the bottom left hand corner
of the dialog box (see pic 2) into the order form so a registration
key can be generated for you. This simply makes the process quicker.
Do not be concerned if you cannot find the code as when your check arrives
you will be sent a confirmation email with instructions on how to unlock
the software.
If you
wish to have the registration key and a copy of the software on CD sent
to you through the regular mail, you should allow around 2-3 weeks for
your CD to arrive. Please note, there is an additional charge of $12.10
USD as stated on the postal information page
for postage, packaging and handling. Please add this amount to the check
and note this in your order form. Again, this makes the turnaround time
much quicker. But please don't worry if you forget, just send an email
with a request for the CD and you will receive an email from support
directing you to the appropriate area for shipping payments. You
should check the status of your order by contacting customer
service, quoting your name, address and order details if you haven't
received your CD in the expected timeframe. Please note that for international
orders mail times vary from country to country so we cannot guarantee
a definite time frame for your shipment to arrive. We would, however,
expect your shipment to take no longer than 30 days.
If you
want to insure your CD or have it sent by registered mail, thus ensuring
its safe delivery and adequate timeframes, please contact support
for further information regarding this option.

9. Can I get your software on CD?
Yes. There are charges for postage. You can view these charges here
. When ordering by mail, please allow up to three weeks for delivery depending
on your location. Most postage delivery times are around 15 working days.
You will be given the option of an electronic download as well. This means
you can still have the CD shipped if you have already downloaded the software,
this is particularly useful in cases where your hard drive crashes etc.
or you simply want to keep a hard copy of the software. All our other
products are included in this CD as trial ware. Instructions are provided
from our downloads page on how to properly
download and install the software. All Purpose Software products can be
sent via CD at additional cost to the customer. For information on shipping
costs, please see postal rates below).

10. Can I get floppy disks mailed to me?
Our software is too big to fit onto a floppy disk. Arrangements can
be made on a case by case basis for a CD to be sent via post.

11. If I order online, how long will it take to receive my registration?
Online purchases are processed within 24 hours. This means that you will
receive confirmation of your purchase, and a request for the 'Installation
Code' via the registration process (see Question no.1) within this timeframe.
Exceptions: (1) your order provided us with an invalid email address,
(2) your mail server was down at the time we emailed the request to you
or your mail server is slow in downloading your email or (3) our mail
server was down.
In most cases, the main reason for not receiving your key within 24 hours
is because you have provided us with an invalid email address.

12. What about refunds?
All
APSW products include a 'try before you buy' fully functional feature.
For this reason, our refund policy is restricted to replacement of goods
damaged in shipment only. Please refer to our product
page link for further information.
Once
our software is downloaded and an unlock key provided, it is considered
to be 'Opened'. It is part of All Purpose Software's refund policy that
all Opened Software cannot be returned for refund, regardless of the delivery
method. For this reason, we urge customers to fully utilise the 30 day,
fully functional trial to ensure the product suits their individual needs.
When
ordering, it is expected that the ordering party has fully utilized the
30 day the trial version of the software before making a purchase and
everything is operational during the trial period. All sales are final.
Refunds may be provided, but only on a case by case basis. Should a refund
be accepted, this refund will incur a charge of $1.18 USD.
Once
an unlock key is provided it is expected that the customer has utilized
the 30 day fully functional feature and made the purchase, fully satisfied
with the product. No refund will be given once an unlock key is registered
and sent to the customer. It is expected that by this time the customer
has utilized the 'try before you buy' feature, made the decision to purchase
the product, had confirmation of payment and unlocked the trial to the
full version.
Customers
who have requested shipped CD's and found them to be damaged, may be exchanged
for the same product only within 30 days of purchase. Please send the
damaged product to the return address located on the software package.
All software
purchases are final and non-refundable. Please be sure you have successfully
tested the trial versions before purchasing. The refunds are available
if you provide a proof that it does not work at all on your machine (including
screenshots of the error message).

15. I'm having problems downloading the program. What can I do?
We suggest you try again, possibly at different times of the day. Sometimes
this problem spontaneously resolves itself. Try using a different browser
if you have the option. We have alternate download sites located on
the downloads page.

16. How can I remove an APSW product from my computer?
Our software is easy to uninstall. Choose "Control Panel"
from the Start Menu, double click "Add/Remove Programs". Select
the APSW product you wish to uninstall then press "Add/Remove...".
Confirm you wish to remove the APSW product from your computer.

17. Do I need another license if I install the same product on another
computer?
Yes. Each pc has its own 'Unique ID'. This means the software can be
used by more than one person on only one computer e.g. members of a
family sharing time on one computer. If your use of the program falls
outside of this definition you need to purchase an additional registration
key for another pc.

18. Do you have a site license/multi-user license for educational users?
Yes, site licenses and multi-user licenses are available on request
for educational use. All of our multi-user licenses are heavily discounted
so that many students or employees can use All Purpose Software products
simultaneously at low cost. If a specific APSW product is to be installed
on more than one computer and will be used by more than one person,
you need either a site license or a multi-user license. We offer heavily
discounted multi-user licenses for educational, non-profit organizations
and corporate users. These allow simultaneous use of an APSW product
on multiple computers at low prices.

What's
the difference between Paymate and PayPal?
PayPal is one of the most widely-used methods of sending and receiving
money internationally. To use PayPal you need to become a PayPal member.
It's free to join. You submit your credit card details securely to
PayPal as part of your account set-up and you can then pay anyone
who accepts PayPal. Uplift Program has a verified US merchant account
with PayPal.
Paymate
is an international payment system for Australian sellers. Many people
prefer it to PayPal because you don't have to register with them to
pay by credit card. You simply enter your details into the secure
Paymate Express form each time you pay someone who accepts Paymate.
Paymate charges a small administrative fee to the buyer for processing
each payment. Paymate is not related to PayPal and is owned by EBay.
What
currencies can I pay in?
If you purchase with Paymate you can choose to pay in AU$ or US$,
while PayPal payments are processed in US$ only. For phone and mail-order
Paymate can process payment in AU$ for credit card, Australian check
and money orders, and US$ for US check and money orders. All other
payments will be converted at the exchange rate at the time of purchase
and debited from your credit card account in your local currency.
Is online payment with PayPal or Paymate secure?
Yes. Both PayPal and Paymate are among the safest methods of online
payment around. They use SSL encrypted technology to keep your personal
and financial details private and protected. Please note that you
should never send your credit card details by email, nor will we ever
ask you to do so.
